About Me

What’s up, I’m Ben!

I am a graduate student from Fresno, California completing my PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles. I recently graduated from Northwestern University where I completed a B.S./M.S. program in the same discipline while competing for NU Swimming and Diving team.

I am a problem solver and designer, who specializes in robotics and is relentless in the pursuit of understanding. My goal is to lift others up while changing the way we look at human interaction with robots.

Outside of work and school, you can find me outside swimming in the sun, eating delicious food, cheering for any Chicago sports team, or finding new trails to explore.
